Article Marketing is a great way to build a hyper-responsive list that will spend money with you. In a moment I'm going to give you specific steps for doing this, but first a little pop quiz:

Which is better? 1) A huge list of people that do not respond to you or 2) A smaller list of hyper responsive customers that practically buy on demand?

If you chose number one I'm not quite sure what to day to you. If you chose number two you are right on target.

Of course the ultimate goal is to build a huge list community that is highly responsive to you. My intention with the question was to break you out of the limiting belief that you have to have a huge list to be successful.

Building a highly responsive list

Step 1: Create great quality articles – Put together 300 – 500 words on specific topics in your niche. Share at least one gold nugget of information that your reader can go out and use right away.

Step 2: Craft a resource box with a powerful invitation – In your resource box invite the reader to get more vital information from you in exchange for their email address.

Step 3: Once you have added a new prospect to your list follow up with them – This is exactly where most internet marketers, and most marketers in general, drop the ball. Folks your fortune and your future are in the follow up. Follow up with support, more information, and resources they can purchase to further their goals.

Step 4: Take great care of your list – and they will take great care of you. Answer their questions. Ask them questions. Create products and services that help them in reaching their goals.

Step 5: Rinse and repeat – Do this over and over again to create a hyper-responsive list.
