Peace Of Mind

Many people in the world today always feel that they don’t have enough. Whether it be: money, fame, attention or anything else they want from life, This creates in each one of us a feeling of a lack of something in our lives which is a negative emotion.

We try to get the things we want but because we have a negative attitude we often end up losing some of the things we had. For example if I want a pay rise and I go in with a negative attitude I may get a pay cut. If I demand more attention from my spouse I will probably be given less attention.

The law of attraction states that if we want something we must first give some of that thing.

If I want to get a rise in pay I start by working harder to give the customer a better service (work=money) my employers realize that I am generating more work from giving an improved service, my contribution is recognized and I get a raise. If I want more attention from my spouse I give more attention and it will be freely returned.

In this way we may gain money, fame, attention, whatever we want, but if we are not happy and do not have peace of mind we will forever feel like we have an emptiness inside us.

The only way to fill this painful void and become at peace with ourselves is through love. And in order to get love we must first give it. I suggest you start by giving every person you meet a little more love. Pay them some compliments, express your concern for them or for their family. After a little time you will find that you are feeling happier about yourself.

If you continue to do this, then over time you will feel so much better that you will naturally give people more love and affection. When you finally reach the point where you can give love completely, unselfishly and unconditionally, then you will be happy and at peace with yourself for the rest of your life.

This is the true path to happiness.
